Hebrews 9:28
“So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and to them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin to salvation.”
Simply put, Jesus Christ, by one sacrifice, has destroyed the works of the devil, that believers may be made righteous. He will appear a second time as the Lord of his people, and the Judge of the living and the dead (Matthew 25:31, Acts 1:11) and to receive his followers into eternal salvation.

“After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. “ (1 Thessalonians 4:17)
