Saved By His Mercy

Titus 3:3-5

“But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared, not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit”

This should remind us that, although we may still have fleshly tendencies, we have been washed and renewed. Not because of anything we have done but because of what Jesus did on the cross for us. And because we are forgiven, we should forgive others.
