Zechariah 13:1
“In that day there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness.”
Our text speaks to the future event when the Lamb of God shall be offered up as a sacrifice for all mankind, the blood of Christ (the fountain opened), shed for the Jews first and then the Gentiles, for the purging away of all sins. Hallelujah!
