Abraham Believed

Romans 4:3a “Abraham Believed”

“For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was accounted unto him for righteousness.”

Here Paul makes his point on justification based on history. He points to Abraham and how God declared him righteous (justified) not based on any good works, nor based on the fact that he was perfect but simply because, Abraham believed. (Genesis 15:6)

As Chuck Smith use to say, “belief is connected to the agent doing the work and there is nothing to difficult for God.”

The Truth

“And being fully persuaded that, what He had promised, He was able also to perform.” (Romans 4:21)
