Genesis 2:18
Then the LORD God said, “It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him.”
Man is created a social animal. To be alone is not “good”; it does not promote his fullest life, or his best service. So, Lord God made for man a “helper” corresponding to his moral and intellectual nature, supplying what he needs, the counterpart of his being. Woman!
