Amos 5:4
“For thus says the LORD to the house of Israel: Seek Me and Live”
The short-term promise of this verse is directed to the nation Israel. If they, as a nation simply turned to God with everything they had, God would spare them. It was (and is) His promise to individuals and groups everywhere: "Seek Me that you may live."
