Revelation 15 “The Prelude Song”

Great and marvelous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints. Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for only thou art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.” (vv.3-4)

Once again John takes us into the heavenly scene where we hear those who had gotten the victory over the beast, and over the image, and over the mark, and over the number of his name. And they are standing on the sea of glass, having the harps of God singing the song of Moses the servant of God (vv.2-3). They are from the nation of Israel, those saved during the Great Tribulation period, who received Jesus Christ as the result of the two witnesses and the hundred and forty-four thousand.

This song will proceed the final judgments of God (the seven bowls) to be poured out upon the earth. The lyrics speak of the Holiness of God, the Righteousness of God, and the Judgment of God. Indicating His time of waiting is over, His grace and patience with mans rejection of His Son has come to an end. His final judgments will now be poured out upon the earth.

Woe to those who have followed the beast, who have taken his mark, and have worshiped his image. The prelude song is about to be sung.

The Truth: "For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse.” (Romans 1:18-21)
