Exodus 9:27
“And Pharaoh sent, and called for Moses and Aaron, and said to them, I have sinned this time: the LORD is righteous, and I and my people are wicked.”
Pharaoh said, I have sinned; the Lord is righteous; I am wicked — These professions however were only produced by his fears: his heart was still untouched. His head recognized the power of God but his heart was still hardened and unbelieving.
The wicked confess their sins to their condemnation, but they cannot believe to obtain remission.
The Truth
“He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” (John 3:18)
